"Smuggler Tour" in the Archipelago

Join the "Smuggler Tour" in the archipelago – a journey back to the era of the smuggler king, when adventures unfolded between islets and reefs outside Strömstad. Hear the incredible stories of Bremer, the man who repeatedly outsmarted the customs officials and always found a safe harbour in these treacherous waters.

It is said that it wasn’t just water that flowed between the boats, and that now and then a drink would find its way down the throats of the smugglers. At the esteemed Grand Hotel, just a stone’s throw from the customs office, deals were made with a smile and a handshake (and probably a small drink).

Practical information
The tours are organized every Thursday from July 2 to August 6 and must be pre-booked no later than 12:00 on the day of departure. Seats for children under 6 years old must also be pre-booked, as the number of passengers on board is limited.

A fee of 100 SEK applies for bookings made by phone or email.
