Booking Terms

Check-in is at 4:00 PM. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 11:00 AM.

The reservation must be canceled by 4:00 PM the day before arrival to avoid full charges. All reservations require a valid credit card.

Prepaid offers can be canceled up to 24 hours after booking. Changes can be made until 4:00 PM two days before arrival for a change fee of 400 SEK plus any price difference.

Prepaid, non-refundable stays cannot be canceled. Changes can only be made upon request directly to the hotel, no later than 48 hours before arrival, and are subject to availability. Any change fees may apply.

If you have booked a spa treatment and wish to cancel, this must be done no later than 48 hours before the scheduled treatment time.

We recommend reserving a table in the restaurant and any spa treatments in advance to secure your preferred time and experience.

In our spa department, there are several pools, hot tubs and saunas. Children under 14 are welcome in the spa area between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM when accompanied by adults.

General Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all bookings with us, including those made through our website, the app or third parties. If you have questions, you can contact our customer service or call us at +47 771 666 700.

1. Booking
The number of persons, price, accommodation and any additional services are stated in the booking confirmation you receive after booking. Children up to 9 years can sleep in their parents’ bed at no extra charge. Commercial use related to the stay must be agreed directly with the hotel.

2. Price and Validity
The agreed prices are binding for both parties. The hotel reserves the right to adjust prices due to changed fees, taxes or other circumstances beyond the hotel’s control.

3. Changes and Cancellations
The booking conditions vary depending on the type of booking. This is stated in the booking confirmation.

3.1 Guaranteed until 4:00 PM:
The room is held until 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. If the guest does not arrive or cancel by this time, the hotel may cancel the reservation.

3.2 Guaranteed booking:
Applies to corporate agreements, travel agencies or credit card guarantees. Cancellations must be made by 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Failure to cancel or arrive will incur a charge for one night’s stay.

3.3 Agreement and group bookings:
Follow separate terms stated in the contract.

3.4 Age limit:
For guests traveling without guardians, an age limit of 18 years applies. The hotel reserves the right to cancel in case of lack of identification.

3.5 Bonus points:
Use of bonus points requires membership in Strawberry and enough points to cover the stay. In case of cancellation, the same rules apply as for regular bookings, and expired points are not refunded.

4. Payment

4.1 Cash payment:
For cash payments, either a cash deposit is required at check-in or a credit card guarantee.

4.2 Card payment:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and Eurocard.

4.3 Invoicing:
Must be agreed in advance and requires a credit check. Stays under 5 000 SEK will not be invoiced.

5. Check-in and Check-out
Rooms are ready for check-in from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out is at 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

6. Liability for Damage
The guest is responsible for damages resulting from negligence or careless behavior. All our hotels are smoke-free. In case of violation, a fee of 1 500 SEK will be charged.

7. Force Majeure
Events beyond the parties’ control – such as strikes, fires or natural disasters – give the right to cancel the agreement without liability for damages.

8. Disputes
Any disputes between the guest and the hotel are handled according to Norwegian law. Disputes are handled in accordance with the hotel’s jurisdiction, except in cases where consumer law stipulates otherwise.
