Winter Barbecuing

There are several lovely prepared barbecue areas out in nature that invite you to cozy picnics, sausage grilling, or maybe even marshmallows over an open fire – and don’t forget the obligatory hot chocolate.

Throughout Strömstad, there are many prepared barbecue areas where you can grill year-round, often in nature reserves. Some examples of lovely places are Nötholmen our nature reserve that is just around the corner, and a little further away are Saltö, Västra Rossö - Kockholmen and Koster Islands (bring your own firewood/coals).
